The Sigma 910AV measures average velocity directly without the need for time consuming flow profiling, significantly reducing the cost of installation and operation. The Sigma 920 Area Velocity Flow Meter can be used in portable or permanent applications and is available with up to two independent level/velocity channels. You can measure level and velocity in two channels or velocity in one and level in another. The American Sigma  950 and 950 AV Series Flow and Water Quality Meter provide portable and/or permanent single-channel monitoring plus water quality testing, process control interface, and a digital display. The American Sigma 950 and 950 AV Optiflow models offer maximum flexibility for multiple applications. Up to three different level sensor technologies and velocity are available in one meter.

For applications requiring more than flow, the 950 optionally monitors rainfall, pH, temperature, ORP, dissolved oxygen and/or conductivity. In addition, the 950 has analog inputs for datalogging from other instruments, for example, total suspended solids monitors. You can also control samplers, pumps, or other equipment based on flow or selected parameter(s) exceeding high/low set points with relay outputs.

Sigma 980 Permanent Flow Meter

The 980 Flow Meter provides the versatility needed to handle a wide range of applications and site conditions.  It has been designed to use three different sensing technologies so that you can choose the most appropriate one for your specific flow situation.  In addition, the flow meter can connect to a wide variety of optional peripheral devices such as 4-20mA outputs, analog inputs, mechanical totalizer, rain gauge, sampler, pH sensor and modem that allow you to customize the 980 to your particular site needs. 

The 980 Flow Meter also has several features designed to simplify installation, operation and maintenance.  It has eight holes along the bottom of the case in order to provide access to power, sensor, control and communications wiring.  The large LCD graphics display lets you quickly see the information you need, on site without the inconvenience of outdated paper charts.  Industry standard MODBUS ASCII protocol has been incorporated, which will allow your MMI, SCADA or DCS system to directly communicate with the 980 Flow Meter without the use (or additional cost) of a PLC.

Portable Doppler Flow Meter

It's ideal for flow troubleshooting, balancing and checking performance of permanent flow meters. The new PDFM 4.0 is fast and easy to operate – you can mount the sensor on the outside a pipe in less than a minute. Use the built-in keypad and calibration menu to set up the flowmeter for your application. The PDFM 4.0 works on any liquid containing bubbles or solids and is recommended for "difficult liquids" like wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids and abrasives. Measures flow through most metal and plastic pipes including PVC, ductile iron, carbon steel and stainless steel.

 The Greyline PDFM 4.0 is AC/DC powered with a built-in battery and charger. With its 4-20mA output you can even use the PDFM 4.0 as a spare transmitter in critical applications. For flow studies and troubleshooting use the built-in 50,000 point Data Logger. Retrieve data logs with 'Greyline Logger' software – included free with each PDFM 4.0. Connect the RS232 output directly to the serial port on your PC or Laptop, or by dial-up connection through modems and phone lines.

Portable Transit Time Flow Meter

Recommended for clean fluids like water, glycol, oil and most chemicals. Portaflow ultrasonic sensors strap-on the outside of vertical or horizontal pipes from 2" to 40" (50 to 1000 mm) diameter. The ultrasonic signal travels through all common metal and plastic pipe materials. Sensors can be mounted without shutting down flow and there is no obstruction or pressure drop. Flow rate and totalizer are displayed continuously along with battery status, signal strength. Press one key to instantly change the units of flow measurement (e.g. from gallons to liters). Real time flow can be displayed in large numeric values or as a graph.

Calibration is easy with the onscreen menu system. Enter the pipe diameter, wall thickness and pipe material, and the Portaflow calculates the optimum mounting method and separation distance for the sensors. Calibration parameters can be stored for up to twenty different sites so that operators can recall calibration setups from the Portaflow memory.
